TASTING NOTES
2006 MARLBOROUGH CHARDONNAY
A nutty bouquet and a lively tight palate – rich with viscosity brought about by the wild yeast. The usually upfront Marlborough fruit has been tamed and takes a (still important) back seat to the wines texture and length forming a wine of elegance, style and moorishness. This wine will compliment many foods.

2006 CENTRAL OTAGO PINOT NOIR
Black flesh fruits are dominant on the nose, with subtle spices, which will form savoury notes as this wine matures. The oxymoron of firm and gentle tannins, form a template for the rich fruit and careful use of oak to develop in to a wine of elegance with attitude.

2007 RICHARDSON CENTRAL OTAGO PINOT GRIS
Inviting bouquet reminiscent of lychees, pears and creaming soda. Lingering palate, full flavoured and balanced. The subtle barrel oak treatment with no oak pick up served to meld all the portions together producing a gentile Pinot Gris that will age gracefully.

2007 RICHARDSON MARLBOROUGH SAUVIGNON BLANC
An intense bouquet, reminiscent of ripe gooseberries and melon with a hint of nettle. The palate is full and inviting with the wild ferment portion creating a viscosity that wraps around the natural Marlborough acidity, while the cooler ferment provides structure, fruit spectrum and contributes to the lingering and moorish finish.
